Civil Aviation Law:

The Civil Aviation Law of the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) was issued on 10 June 1991; the provisions of this Law shall apply in respect of:

The Civil Aviation in the territory of the U.A.E.

The Civil Aircraft registered in the U.A.E, wherever they may be, subject to the laws of any foreign State in which they may be operating.

The Civil airports in the U.A.E., including all technical activities such as air traffic control and the installation, operation and maintenance of communication equipment, radio equipment, navigation aids, meteorology, etc.

Air transport in general.

GCAA Law:

The General Civil Aviation Authority Law was issued on 01 January 1996; This Law estabpshes the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) as General Authority for the execution of the Civil Aviation Law in the United Arab Emirates.
